Service Description
The aim of the day is to introduce you to backcountry adventures and explore the extraordinary terrain that surrounds Falls Creek in a safe and encouraging environment. We will start the day by becoming familiar with our equipment and learning correct touring technique: we will venture over to the Rocky Knolls to ski and ride some magical untouched terrain that lays just beyond the boundary of Falls Creek. To finish the day we will stop in at the Falls Creek Hotel for Lunch and Apre'. Macca and Mimi will lead the tour, running from 8.30am-1pm Falls Creek Guides will provide the guides, touring equipment and some warm refreshments for the adventure, all you need is your ski or snowboard boots. It is the perfect opportunity for you to discover backcountry skiing or to prepare for your adventure that awaits you further afield in Australia or overseas.
